Is February a Fab month?

I apologized for not posting up any entries lately as things have been in a slight disorder and well of course, my computer needs to be fixed. The computer can’t be really blamed as her owner is just as distraught as her system. Si?

We flipped our calendar to the month of February and to those that missed their resolutions can secretly start over this Chinese New Year. New Year or not we constantly learn new things, stumble awkwardly and achieve successfully with just a blink of an eye. For an example, I’ve come across this:

Predictable things occurred in a wrong time and as human as we all are, we grow too slow to accept it even though as mentioned it is already expected – another thing your elders didn’t teach and God didn’t sprinkle that to your dreams at night on how to use your strategy. Por fah vor – that applies to everything I know!

Max, I hope I am right in whatever I said to you. Dear dumb blog, I kinda told Max I can read men’s balls better than their brains (I think this is just a random joke and has nothing to do with what I actually said to her). But por que no – I can be an exotic fortune teller and join Malaysian Idol to exhibit my talent.

That aside, I haven’t been drinking my usual ah pek coffee due to you-don’t-want-to-know reasons, I switch to another caffeine. Tea. People, I don’t think tea would be my cup of tea. It’s like when I close my eyes and sip on it, I can see carnage. *Nodding my head* Yes, that horrid. However, two thumbs up for Starbucks as this cute barista with her Starbucks accent did a good job from upselling my favourite Classic Caffe Latte to their newcomer Rooibos Tea Latte earlier this morning. Be the first in the morning and those baristas will upsell you better.

I like it. Not her upselling skills but the tea.

Take a look at this 3 newcomers – Green tea latte, Rooibos tea latte and Black tea latte.

Promoting Starbucks to you guys you ask? Not even. I am a food and a drink lover, people that who are close to me knows that. So this is worth a try.
Question - do you believe in how one can easily change their taste?

I was fucking elated. That my internet connection at home is finally fixed and I can use them now without hunting for hot spots. But, memang cibai, when the computer guy was at my house two days ago, everything was well - I paid him happily and he left un-hastily. My mum likes his hands-on service because he complements his computer service by taking me out for typical cina peking duck dinner and she doesn’t have to the job as I always ask her to belanja me food that has duck. That was two days ago.

Now, I am not thrill for real as my system is not working at all.
I can’t even fucking turn on my computer, how can I possibly use my internet? I sighed. Mum was quiet. I dialed his number. He didn’t answer – which is not usual. In conclusive, mum and I are not pleased. It tells you how Malaysians gets easily unhappy all the time over small things.... Not precisely true because Malaysia is ahead of America as one of the happiest country. Not bad really I mean America ranks on the 23rd spot when it comes to happiness. *Shrug* America has Oprah and Dr Phil for guidance and self improvement and it is not working. Short question, what makes you happy?

BABE!!!!!

this is a honest testimonial from pauline cheah herself.

Have you ever taste the worst eVA spaghetti Carbonara?
Have you ever wonder how it would taste like?

Well, the truth is i have and i will nvr eat it eva again.

Time: 00.14
Chef: Paulinez
Menu: Pasta Carbonara and Salad with balsamic dressing

As usual, the day started of with a "tot-so" nice lunch when suddenly something terrible wrong happen. As she cooked her bacon and garlic on a pan together with butter and olive oil, she poured a wrong potion into the pan the " CREAM" .... after pouring it and boiling it on low heat for a bit, she tasted it. To her pure shocked, it tasted SWEET! yuckz.... How can that be. So she took that "cream" and tasted it on its own and amazed, it was a sWEET CREAM! how stupid she tot to herself. How can cream be sweet? and why didnt she tot of tasting the cream b4 throwing it into the fiery pan. Now, sadden by the mistake, she cursed n cursed and complained to her mother. But her mother said it tasted ok just very sweet. Tryin to cover up the silly sweetness, she throw in the salt n pepper which didnt work at all. Served at the lunch table, she took a mouthbite of the stupid pasta and immediately had to wash it down with a glass of red wine. She gave in and put the white flag up leaving the poor pasta all alone on the table not being able to be appreciated by the diners.

So poor pauline drank 3-4 glass of red wine and had a small bowl of salad. She then decided to make herself bacon, baked beans, sunrise eggs with pan fried tomatoes later for tea.

The Endz ..........

The Work of People

And so it had to happen sooner if not later – the brutal death of Pakistani Prime Minister Bhutto was expected and the world is keen to know the real truth as the Pakistani government’s has given contradictory reports on her death. I am puzzled over this, the fact that her family buried her without a detail postmortem examination – not to mention there were several ambiguous statements:

1. Her advisers and officials claimed she was shot twice with an open fire and then there was a penyerang berani mati that exploding himself that injured her supporters.
2. Pakistani government claimed she had suffered a blow when her head actually hit on the sunroof of the car.

While following the updates of Bhutto, our local Health Minister Dr Chua Soi Lek has been making headlines on his sexcapades affair featuring his personal friend aka florist kononnya, well it is no longer personal now. People are more concerned with Dr Chua Soi Lek’s heat than Bhutto’s death- what a radical shame.

A glimpse - of the man and his personal friend.

Just my humble opinion, there is no point for us to get thrilled over his explicit mega-fiasco scandal repetitively because this is not what our nation needs as a pembuka tahun baru although we are aware of how important his role is to us erm, say previously. Remember in year 2006, DAP unconditionally expressed disapproval of Chua’s impulsive move of risking the entire RM1.5 billion babi industry in Malaysia by using the industry as a scapegoat for the corruption breakdown of the Agricultural and Agro based Industries Ministry to stop the mistreatment of banned beta agonist by babi rearers.
That was not as harsh as his recent scandal as the opposition might benefit from it don’t you think so?

It's a wrap for year 2007

The year end holiday festive draws people to have fun and have more fun and I was merry as a Sarong party girl, didn’t drink like a party pooper, eat like it was Kwanzaa and enjoyed the company around me although you know they dislike your Chrismas gifts. On new year’s eve, I decided to stay low – had dinner with the girls and headed home - cibai, I hardly drink this time around or party like a rockstar. How rare, I should be illegal.

Summarizing last year, I had an apogee and nadir occasions that triggers my most basic familiarity in life to a complete different perspective – let’s put it this way, it is not what you see but how you see it which I am slowly comfortable with. Which, I know what I did last year:

1. Obsessing over butt-coffee from Sega Fredo’s designed by Gurmit. Surname must be Singh.
2. Shamelessly sang two songs consecutively in public next to a professional singer when I can’t even sing in shower.
3. Killed my mobile phone.
4. Double killed my computer but my computer guy was friendly enough to say it has committed suicide. Kesian

As usual, I do not have any New Year resolution so I am less stress but people around me are getting stressed over their resolution and that is making me leh mah stressed. Dear dumb blog, these people are giving me ideas of not stressing out as my resolution don’t you think so?

Have a good year everyone.
